INVASION SCIENCE

& WILDLIFE ECOLOGY

A research team led by Dr Phill Cassey

WELCOME

Welcome to the Invasion Science & Wildlife Ecology Group led by Phill Cassey, an Australian Research Council Industry Laureate Fellow at the Department of Ecology & Evolutionary Biology in the School of Biological Sciences, University of Adelaide.

Our multidisciplinary Environmental Biosecurity research team brings critical analytical and applied techniques to the study of wildlife conservation and biosecurity risk management; areas characterised by complexity and uncertainty.

Through all of our research and teaching we aim to present our results in exciting and innovative ways, for best practice in translation and adoption. In this regard, we collaborate with local and national government environment and biosecurity agencies, non-government conservation organisations, and international wildlife enforcement agencies.

If you are interested in working with us or joining the group, as either a researcher or student, please contact Phill directly to discuss the opportunities currently available.
